College History

The College was established by Swami Vishwatamanand Sadbhawana Charitable Trust, Bombay under the Chairmanship of "His Holiness" Swami Vishwatamanand Saraswati. The college was established in year 2001. Swami Ji Maharaj is a great Sanskrit scholar, a saint with Devine powers, a reformer & a preacher in the true sense. The Swami Ji is a 'Mahatma' in a true sense, working meticulously for the last 30 years for the upliftment of the mankind.

Location

The college is situated in the picturesque lap of Kalidhar Mountain range in Sunderbani and environment around the college is very conducive which provides very suitable atmosphere for studies. Students enjoy the pollution free environment and live very close to nature. The College is located in the Lap of Kalidhar Hills, 80Km from Jammu Railway Station.
 

Affiliation
The college is recognized by the J&K Government, and is affiliated to University of Jammu. The college offers a professional course in education leading to the B.Ed. degree of University of Jammu.
 

Vision and Mission

We have maintained excellent standard of education and a beautiful campus which speaks of itself. Presently a new kind of educational resurgence is evident in the state. The new experiments in Education, introduction of reforms and improved evaluation techniques are watched both by the students and the rightly concerned public with interest. New opportunities have arisen for all to work together in realising the  various targets in Education. It is indeed satisfying that Swami  Vishwatamanand Saraswati College of Education has established itself as a reliable educational institute and an academic organisation with a constant endeavour to shape the overall academic development of the trainees.
